POR LOS SUELOS

Los cuadros son un elemento imprescindible en la decoración de todas las viviendas, ya sean óleos, fotografías, láminas o incluso mapas, deben encajar siempre con el estilo de la vivienda. Dejando la costumbre clásica de colgarlos en la pared, podemos decorar con cuadros en el suelo y añadir emoción a los espacios.

Son perfectos en recibidores, salones, dormitorios y también en baños o cocinas que necesiten un toque diferente. Puede colocarse un único cuadro, sin ninguna otra distracción que pueda hacerle sombra o una serie de cuadros a modo de composición, pero dependerá del espacio.

Una buena iluminación es imprescindible, si no contamos con luz natural como sucede generalmente en los pasillos, podemos colocar una lámpara o varios focos que iluminen los cuadros para que luzcan y destaquen mucho más.

Good lighting is essential, if we do not have natural light as usually happens in the hallways, we place a lamp or more lights that light up the pictures so they look and stand out more.

LOFTS

Almacenes, garajes o antiguas fábricas se reinterpretan para convertirse en pisos de soltero, viviendas familiares, oficinas o galerías de arte. Algo que comenzó como una alternativa económica, en relación a los elevados costes de la vivienda en Manhattan en los años 50, es hoy en día uno de los estilos de vida más deseados.

Warehouses, garages or old factories are reinterpreted to become single apartments, family homes, offices or art galleries. Something that began as an economic alternative, in relation to the high costs of housing in Manhattan in the 50s, is today one of the most desired lifestyles.

Se trata de grandes espacios abiertos en los que las zonas de la vivienda se comunican entre sí. A veces pueden existir pequeñas divisiones generadas por columnas o bloques de cemento, pero sin separar completamente la estancia. Suelen tener enormes ventanales y techos altos que permiten en muchas ocasiones crear una doble estancia para maximizar el espacio. Por ello suele acondicionarse una planta superior, en la que generalmente irán los dormitorios, desde donde se podrá observar el resto de la vivienda.

MIRAR HACIA ARRIBA

A la hora de diseñar el interior de una vivienda es habitual priorizar, entre otras cosas, en el tono o acabado de las paredes, tipo de suelo a elegir, la iluminación o simplemente en los elementos decorativos. La mayoría de las veces cometemos el error de olvidar por completo los techos o limitarnos a pintarlos de blanco porque aporta luminosidad. Existen muchas otras alternativas, en cuanto a techos se refiere, que contribuyen a que una estancia luzca mejor y no pase desapercibida.

When designing the interior of a house it´s usual to prioritize, among other things, the tone or finish of the walls, type of floor to choose, the lighting or simply the decorative elements. Most of the time we make the mistake of completely forgetting the ceilings or just paint them white because it brings luminosity. There are many other alternatives, as far as roofs are concerned, that contribute to make a stay look better and not go unnoticed.

En las casas antiguas es común ver vigas de madera en los techos y aunque corresponden puramente a razones estructurales tienen a mayores una importante aportación estética generando ambientes cálidos y agradables.

Aportar color es fundamental en interiorismo ya que éste tiene la capacidad de influir tanto en el resultado final de una estancia, puesto que afecta a las proporciones aparentes del espacio, como en el estado de ánimo de las personas, creando a la vez distintos climas y estilos.
