Un sueño bastante común es poder disfrutar de una vivienda en la cual las vistas del entorno donde se ubica sean el centro de atención, casas con vistas privilegiadas ya sea en mar o montaña y que con una simple pero cuidada decoración se convierten en el perfecto hogar para vivir.

A common dream is to be able to enjoy a home in which the views of the environment where it’s located are the center of attention, houses with privileged views either in sea or mountain and with a simple but careful decoration become the perfect home to live.

Construcciones abiertas y diáfanas con diseños simples que siguen los principios de arquitectura orgánica es decir, integran edificación, lugar, uso y función, materiales propios de la zona, proceso de construcción y lo más importante al ser humano. Casas que presentan una perfecta conexión entre el espacio exterior e interior y que nos ponen en contacto con la naturaleza.

Open and diaphanous constructions with simple designs that follow the principles of organic architecture, that’s, they integrate building, place, use and function, materials of the zone, construction process and the most important thing to the human being. Houses that present a perfect connection between the outer and inner space and that put us in contact with nature.

“Los interiores vacíos me hacen soñar con numerosas ideas de cómo adecuar un ambiente…..” con esta frase empecé el blog y al editar la entrada de esta semana, me acordé de ella. Qué mejor manera de soñar e imaginar nuevos espacios habitables que convertir una fábrica abandonada en un loft como el de las siguientes imágenes.

«The empty interiors make me dream of numerous ideas on how to adapt an environment … ..» with this sentence I started the blog and with the entry of this week, I remembered it. What better way to dream and imagine new spaces than to turn an abandoned factory into a loft like the following images.

Los elementos arquitectónicos existentes en estas fábricas, convertidas en viviendas, se aprovechan en la decoración. Pilares, vigas, techos, suelos originales, se restauran y mantienen igual dejando así la huella del antiguo edificio. Los conductos de climatización quedan a la vista para mantener la estética original, añadiendo así un toque industrial y en la mayoría de las ocasiones se habilita una segunda planta con escaleras de diseño minimalista.

The architectural elements existing in these factories, converted into dwellings, take advantage of the decoration. Pillars, beams, ceilings, original floors, are restored and remain the same leaving the footprint of the old building. The air conditioning ducts are in sight to maintain the original aesthetics, adding an industrial touch and in most of the occasions a second floor with stairs of minimalist design is enabled.

Antes de adquirir una fábrica o de transformarla en residencia hay que informarse de las cuestiones legales, de que todo está en regla y conforme a la normativa urbanística de la localidad. La razón es averiguar si la fábrica o local no sólo cumple los requisitos de habitabilidad sino que también pueda transformarse en vivienda. Una vez comprobado este factor, se podrá comenzar la reforma, un lienzo en blanco sobre el que crear……
